The MEGA Hackathon League is hosting a hybrid hackathon catered to the United Nations' seventeen sustainable development goals: end world poverty and hunger, promote well-being, provide quality education, achieve gender equality, ensure sustainable water management, promote economic growth, foster innovation, ensure access to clean energy, reduce inequality, ensure safety, maintain sustainable consumption and production, combat climate change, conserve marine and terrestrial ecosystems, promote world peace, and strengthen global partnership. The MEGA Hackathon League is a coalition of high-school students from around the globe including the schools: Pingry, Hun, Lawrenceville, Newark Academy, Rutgers Prep, Northfield Mount Hermon School, Prince of Wales Secondary School, and more.

By infusing computer science competitions with these goals, the MEGA Hack League’s annual Hackathon will raise awareness for global welfare while instilling passion in computer science students. Lasting twenty-four hours, MEGAHack2022 will occur from Friday, April 2 to Sunday, April 4 in a hybrid format, with the theme AI for Good. Participants can join our event online through the zoom platform or join in person at select locations around the world.

Moderators will be present both in person and on Zoom to answer any questions or assist with team projects. Workshops, Guest Speakers and other events will make this event fun for all. Participants will have networking opportunities, receive free swag and the opportunity to win prizes.
